Omer Sade won the 1st place in the 2026 Kasher Undergraduate Student Project Contest in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technion, for his project (together with the Communications laboratory) entitled “Electromagnetic Metagrating Absorbers“. Omer also presented this work in the Metamaterials’2026 symposium, which took place in NYC in the beginning of September 2026.
He now continues his studies as a Master’s student in Tel-Aviv University.
